Event Solutions Magazine Awards Classic the 2006 Annual Spotlight Award
For Outstanding Overall Performance
El Segundo, CA – Classic Party Rentals, the premier event rental company in the U.S., has been named 2006 Rental Company of the Year by Event Solutions magazine. The publication awarded Classic with its annual Spotlight Award during a ceremony in Denver, Colorado, on August 23. Classic – based in El Segundo, California – operates 18 locations in seven states and generates combined annual revenues of $180 million.
The 10th annual Spotlight Awards were presented to top event-industry professionals at the conclusion of Event Solutions’ Idea Factory workshop. Finalists were selected based on their performance during the previous calendar year, and Classic was one of just eight companies nominated for Rental Company of the Year. Awards were presented in 20 distinct categories, including Event Site of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Event Planner of the Year.

Classic’s award is the result of its creative event rental solutions for events including the Electronic, Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, CA, the Mariani Fruit Packing Company’s 100th Anniversary Party in Vacaville, CA, and the 2005 Malibu Film Festival in Malibu, CA. Classic’s Rental Company of the Year honor is equally attributed to its significant growth within the last year.
